About

Welcome to Laverne Sorrells Photography!

My name is Timothy Laverne Sorrells, named after my grandfather Laverne Sorrells.

I have always had a love for photography, starting from when I was a boy, a photography class in high school, and picking it back up after I was married in 1998, to my wonderful wife, Angel.

In the fall of 2000, I purchased my first digital camera, a Kodak point and shoot, 810k pixels. I have been capturing memories ever since.

Over the years, my main focus was capturing memories of my daughters, Katie and Gracie. They were involved in many activities: dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading. In 2012, my oldest daughter Katie had the amazing opportunity to cheer for her high school, my alma mater, Columbus East High School, at Lucas Oil Stadium. I was lucky enough to obtain field credentials to that game, and Laverne Sorrells Photography was born.
